A Note from the Founder
Some traditions are so quietly significant that you only recognize their weight years later.
Growing up, my mother had a ritual. Before each season, she would personally select fabric, touching it, considering it, and have pajamas cut and sewn to a tailored fit for each of us. Not store-bought. Not an afterthought. A matching pajama set, made with intention, made for us specifically. That detail mattered to her. It mattered to me.
I still have a pajama drawer. It holds some of my most cherished sets and every piece of House of Saint Joy lives there too.
As I got older, the tradition evolved with me. Pajamas became a foundation and lingerie became the extension of that same feeling, just more intimate, more personal, more mine.
I am an attorney, a real estate agent, and the founder, designer, and CEO of this brand. My life moves fast. Rest is not a luxury I take for granted. Rest is something I have had to learn to protect. I am also, by nature, introverted. Quiet. But there is something that happens when I put on the right piece: I feel confident in a way that nothing else quite replicates. Not performed confidence. Genuine, settled, personal confidence.
Lingerie, for me, is also a language. It is how I connect with my partner, how I communicate care and attention without words. House of Saint Joy was born from that understanding, that what we wear closest to our bodies carries meaning. That rest is an act of self-respect.
